Actions allow you to programmatically trigger any motion sequence for your LemonSlice avatar in a real-time call.

LemonSlice Actions

LemonSlice avatars can now do any action in real-time. Our avatars have always had natural, expressive hand gestures when they speak. Actions allow you to trigger more specific things like pointing, waving, cheering, or jumping. 

Try it for yourself

The photorealistic character on our homepage has several built-in actions. Chat with her and see if you can spot these actions: 

  • Waving at the start of the call
  • Swaying 
  • Head tilt during listening 

These all trigger automatically during a conversation. 

Separately, you can trigger 3 other actions - dance, turn, wave - by pressing a button on the side panel or asking the avatar to “dance for me.”

How to create actions 

Actions must be onboarded specifically for a character. The process involves sending LemonSlice 2-5x videos demonstrating the action. It can be a human doing the action even if your character is an animal, which makes onboarding quite easy. Each action has a cost for both onboarding and continued use.
