LemonSlice Lite is specifically designed for the needs of consumer apps:

High volume
Ultra-low latency
Instant character creation from 1 photo

Lite is a less powerful avatar model. In exchange, it offers a significantly lower price per minute (as low as $0.039/min), making it a strong fit for high-volume consumer products where at-scale costs matter most.

Examples

Although the Lite model is less capable than the Standard model, it still has great performance in many domains. We recommend using the Lite model with stylized characters (3D-style like in Pixar movies or 2D cartoons, like in manga). If using photorealistic characters, zoom in closely to the face. Here are example outputs of the Lite model:

Usage

Set the optional model parameter to "lite" when starting a session. Supported aspect_ratio values are "2x3" and "1x1". The Lite model is lower resolution.

Framing and image tips

For best results when using Lite:

Use a stylized image, such as 3D cartoon, anime style, ghibli, etc.
If using a photorealistic image, use tight face crops
Minimize deadspace above the character’s head
