Shipping Log - Week 38

Hey all,

Here's what we shipped this week.

1. Our new model is live to try on our website. Character World Model-1 allows you to programmatically trigger dozens of actions and emotions for any avatar (no character-specific training required). Early-adopter customers have been using it in production and loving it. We’re excited to open it up to general access soon. Try it out for yourself today at lemonslice.com. You can even take a selfie and trigger actions on your own avatar.

2. Better video on weak internet connections. If your end user’s connection is too slow, the LemonSlice avatar stream will now reduce resolution instead of dropping frames, so playback stays smooth instead of stuttering. For teams using our LiveKit integration, we’ve also added video_codec and scalability_mode, so you can choose a format that works well on your users’ devices, and optionally encode the stream so LiveKit can send less when someone’s connection drops. Check out the docs.

Happy building!
