Shipping Log - Week 39
Here's what we shipped this week: 1) CWM-1, the most controllable interactive avatar model in the world, 2) ~40% higher resolution streams, 3) a new Ultra subscription plan, 4) a model optimized for cartoons, and 5) automatic image optimization in the API.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week and I can’t wait to share all the latest from LemonSlice HQ. If I’ve missed one or two updates this summer - well, hopefully this one makes up for it.
Here's what we shipped this week.
1. CWM-1: the most controllable interactive avatar model in the world. Character World Model-1 has a built-in emotion engine that decides what the character does and feels, not just what it says. Use our presets to give your avatar a more life-like presence, or trigger actions and emotions yourself. This works for any avatar. No character-specific training is required. We launched it to the world on Wednesday, and it’s now available for everyone to use. Read the report here, and try it with your own avatars on the LemonSlice playground.
2. Higher resolution. LemonSlice calls now stream at a ~40% higher resolution (!). This isn’t just about more pixels. The quality of the avatar itself, including details around the mouth and eyes, will also be noticeably better. We’re super excited to share this with all LemonSlice users (no updates required).
3. Ultra subscription plan. We’ve added a new month-to-month subscription tier that comes with everything you need to ship LemonSlice avatars into production. Higher concurrency (up to 100), longer calls (2 hours), more competitive pricing, and access to the full suite of LemonSlice models: CWM-1, Flash, Lite, and our Cartoon-optimized model. 4. A new model optimized for CARTOONS. Cartoon avatars are having a bit of a moment. Along with CWM-1, we’ve released a new cartoon-optimized model that excels at making cartoon characters really expressive. Check out the head-to-head comparison with Meta’s Muse.
5. Automatic image optimization. If everything above wasn’t enough, we also updated our API to support on-the-fly image optimizations for better quality avatars. Try it out by passing edit_image: True with your session request. More details here.
